I hate AOL! And I house sit.12:40 a.m. - 2004-01-03
I HATE AOL SOOOOOO MUCH! Who uses this system? If you tend to do what I do, you are doing 2 to 5 other things on a regular basis while online. But with AOL, everytime you want to open another minimized window, you have to minimize the one you are working on, click on the one you want to open, then either click twice more or click on "restore" to open. What a retarded system! What a waste of time! Especially when you are using a dial-up modem (as I am, on my friends computer).
So, why am I using this... THING? I am house-sitting for her. She's out of town, visiting her half-brother, along with her mom, dad, and boyfriend, and her mom asked me to housesit [really, dog-sit. All I have to do is watch the food and water, let the dogs out, and keep the "baby" company, because she gets really lonely.] Which I don't mind-- I am one of those people who like being alone. Not all the time, of course, I get lonely, but I enjoy solitude for short bursts of time. Then I enjoy coming back to society and talking with other people. So, I said yes.
I do have a chiropracter app't. tomorrow, so I won't be alone for long, and I will also be supporting someone when he/she talks about that issue from a few entries back tomorrow with some of their family. Which is good, because I'm already getting lonely. I've finished a book, watched some tv, surfed online, raided Sims, Hot Date (my computer isn't fast enough for it, but it runs great on hers)... and I'm bored.
Thank god it's only 1.5 more days.
