Today I saw a squirrel come out of a trashcan on campus. I’m not quite sure how it got in (or for that matter, out), because it was a trashcan with a little cap and a flap over the opening. Although this is a pathetic thing to admit, sometimes I have trouble opening those (the springs can be so tight), so how did a squirrel who weighed approximately 3 lbs or so open it? And then somehow manage to squeeze back out? Curiouser and curiouser.
It is only 10:38 in the morning, and I have pretty much run out of things to do online already. I’ve played Wheel of Fortune™ online (for the first time ever), and won 34,100 dollars. (the puzzle: "Thing"? Exact Duplication. Hard to figure out when all you can see is

The check had better be in the mail.) I would kinda like to read up on some other diaries, as I haven’t had the time to read them for a few days (other than, of course, darling Sundry). However, I am surrounded on both sides by other people using the computer lab at school, and while I love diaryland (and Andrew, too), it is not necessarily the coolest looking site on the web. All lavender and sort of pre-pubescent. Gee, that really sounds like a slam, so I’ll repeat: Love me that diaryland! But anyway, I don’t particularily want to share the fact that I must have some voyeuristic tendencies with complete strangers who just happen to be sitting near me, and that go to the same school.
I also have a quiz in trig today. I tell you, the excitement never stop around here. Oh, and I had a test in French. Whoo. There was an awful traffic jam on the way to the metrolink, which after 20 minutes, I finally discovered was caused by a schoolbus that ran into a little dinky car near a funky intersection. Pain in the ass, but I hope no one was hurt. It seems to be a pattern: traffic is always bad the day that you have a test in your first class. I’m finally used to the huge pain in the ass that is my new detour. A road that I travel about 100 feet on before turning onto another street is blocked off completely for only the 100 feet that I travel on it on. The first day I took their detour. A twenty to thirty minute drive, normally, took 50 minutes. I was a bit late to class, shockingly. Now I’ve found my own detour, but it still involves having to go through 2 extra traffic lights and a few stop signs that I wouldn’t normally have to go through.
Anyway, guess that’s it. Bonne journée!
