All about Lil.

So, I haven't really properly introduced you to Lillith, now have I? Sure, she's been mentioned (maybe even featured!) in a few entries (which are rarely linked). Now, I know, why on earth would anyone want to read about someone else's cat? She isn't actually my cat, so why on earth would I want to write about somebody else's cat?

Well, I don't know. I just do.

Now then. Lil is the sort of cat that you could picture out in the wild, killing animals. If she would gain a few hundred pounds, she would look quite similar to a black panther. When she wants to play with Ben, she runs along beside him and nips at his hamstring. This reminds of a wolf pack preying on an antelope. She only weighs about seven pounds, but it is seven pounds of pure attitude. She could buy and sell your ass.

When she's mad, her mouth hangs open a little bit. I know she's trying to be threatening, showing how sharp and white her teeth are, and letting me know that she is prepared to bite. The fact remains, cats look like doofuses (doofi?) when their mouths hang open. She also likes to growl with her mouth open, which gives a lovely concentrated odeur de la cat breath. Gah.

When she does bite, it is generally without warning, except for the look in her eyes. She keeps her ears back when she snaps at people. She knows if she bites too hard, she'll get smacked.

She chirps when she jumps, when she starts to run, and sometimes just for the hell of it.

She's always hungry.

No. Always.

Her whiskers have little kinks in them, so when she's sniffing your face or feeling affectionate, they whisper across your skin and tickle like hell.

Her nose is really cold and wet, and sticks out a little bit. She has a thin, rat-like tail. Her ears are too tall and narrow for her little head.

She likes to lay on your lap when you are home alone and using the computer. Especially if you are typing an entry about her.
