Oh, yes, my friends. There are changes afoot. Changes-- whooooo!
I am almost through with my first page design. I'm probably not going to put it up for a week or so... trying to match some colors and such, and I have to get a gold membership so I can store my images. I already have plans for a related archive and guestbook design.
This leads me to exclaim, "WHY?" I shoulda just left the prefab designs. I don't even know how much time this is going to take, all totalled. It has taken forever just to do the html for this one page (I didn't understand CSS at all... wait, I still don't), and now I have to figure out two other designs. The archives shouldn't be too hard, just a different image, and it should be about done. But the guestbook will be a whole 'nother kettle of fish.
Also, I'm tired, and I have to work tomorrow (and then a few more days), thus the delay for actually getting this shit up.
I know the satisfaction of doing it myself will make me remember this experience as more pleasant than it actually was, but gah! I'm definitely not going to be redesigning every few months. Get ready-- obviously amateur design is coming soon, to a webpage near you!
