I run, and miss the train. But I'm still happy!
Just a quickie.
Today, I saw the train as I was coming up the path to the station. So I ran as fast as I could to get there in time to get on, instead of having to sit around in the cold for another 10 minutes while my fingers went numb. As I got onto the platform, the bee-otch who was driving pulled away. She couldn't wait the extra 3 seconds to let me on the train? That was obnoxious. Then, on the next train that I actually got on (ten freezing minutes later), the same thing happened at the South campus. Except the driver waited to let the girl on. And she was running slower than I was! I wouldn't have ran if I hadn't seen in the past that the drivers generally wait to let people on. So, I'm pissed off.
Something about the waiting situation did make me happy, though. I was out of breath after running for a minute, but nowhere near what I used to be after running that speed and distance. I think the cardio is actually paying off! And I gave blood on Monday... so less RBC's to carry the oxygen also. I am the queen!
Anywoo... must dash. I have Chem in 20 minutes. Sorry for any typos, I'll do a check on this later. (And it has been checked.)
