This is what America wants.
Read this. He's a bit more articulate than I am, though his letter is addressed to Mr. Kerry, and my letter is addressed to you (And I mean to all of you, if you are American, Canadian, Japanese, French, Russian, Nicoraguan, or have any other national affiliation).
Well, the majority of Americans have spoken. They want the brutal rape of the environment to continue. They want a man who waged a war based on an incorrect assumption, against the advisement of the United Nations, to continue to be our country’s leader. They want a man who can’t ever admit he was wrong, to be America’s leader. They want someone who believes an essential human right should be denied to a group of people, merely because they love the “wrong” person (No. Not even that they love the wrong person. Because they love a person of the “wrong” sex), to be America’s leader. They want a person who has alienated nearly all of America’s allies, to be America’s leader. They want a person who has invested billions of dollars into a missile system that has never actually worked—and who will continue to invest more money into this system, to be America’s leader. They want a person who will give tax breaks to huge corporations and the extremely wealthy, while raising the taxes of those with the least money, to be America’s leader. They want a man who outsourced many of their jobs, so now they have to work at a job with half the pay and no respect, to be America’s leader. They want a man who has gone from a budget surplus to the largest deficit in American history, to be America's leader. They want a man who has (at the very least indirectly) caused the death of over a thousand of American’s young men and women, and injured over eight thousand more, to be America’s leader. They want a man who thinks that women should have no rights over their own body, to be America’s leader.
This is what America wants. I am not America. I am an American. And this is not what I want.
Please, do whatever you can to protect America for the next four years. America doesn’t seem to know what it needs. Sometimes, it is necessary to help those who do not know better.
