I worry, "volunteer", and anticipate (possible) change.
Howdy all! I swear, I have just been AWFUL about posting entries lately. I won't say it's all going to change, but I hope I'll get better. Really.
Anyhoo... I've been noticing how much my entries have just been generally sucking ass lately (and not in my normal, all my entries suck kinda way... although they do). I'm wondering if it's because I know that theoretically people that I could meet in real life someday could be reading this, and I'm editing myself because of that. I'm especially worried since I am on Google that Chian is going to pop into this by accident (especially since it happened to Sundry). In fact, I spent an hour or so a few weeks ago ridding all of my entries of my name and signature sign-off (even though, DUH, it's in the journal NAME).
So, what's new? I just spent 4 hours today wrapping Christmas presents for charity. S@nt@'s He1pers, a volunteer orginization in good ol' Louie, is one (and basically the only) choice that we had in my Soc. class for a project. Worth like 2 tests. So, nasty, skanky warehouse? Check. Oddly sore index finger and thumb-- on both hands? Check. Way too much time spent peeling off price tags? That's a big 10-4, buddy. Yeah, it was cool to do something for charity, but why did it have to be way the hell downtown (actually-- I guess uptown, it was to the North)???
For those of you who don't live in the Loo (hee hee, I is So funny!), there are vast areas of St. Louis that a majority of the population avoid whenever possible. Like... St. Louis City. East St. Louis. North County. Large areas. Whole continents even. This was one of those areas. Lots of warehouses and buildings with no intact windows. Yipes. In fact, they lock the doors of the charity orginization after dark, because they have had robberies before.
In other news-- I may actually be going to UMSL next semester. Depending on many factors. NOOO! Change!!!
Actually, change sounds good.
